Air Terminal Services (ATS) Fiji PTE Ltd has paid a $2.47 million dividend to the Government, reflecting the Company's effective management strategies and successful operational recovery.
This substantial contribution highlights ATS's vital role in supporting the tourism sector and strengthening economic stability in Fiji.
This payout comes in the wake of ATS's impressive financial performance for the 2023 fiscal year, boasting a record Net Profit After Tax of $16 million.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development, and Statistics, Hon. Professor Biman Prasad, accepted the dividend on behalf of the Government yesterday.
ATS Chief Executive Officer Alan Suchin stated that the Company’s success reflects the hard work and dedication of the entire team, solidifying ATS’s role as a vital contributor to Fiji's economic recovery—especially for the Government, which holds a 51% stake in its operations.
“Our success is driven by our people and their commitment to excellence; together, we are paving the way for a stronger tourism sector while delivering value to the government as our primary stakeholder,” Mr Suchin stated.
